USB WriterProtector is a small but handy utility application that protects files stored on USB drives from accidental deletion. The file is delivered to your machine compressed using WinRar, so be sure to have it installed to access the executable. The USB WriteProtector file is under a 1MB in size, and a large portion of that is dedicated to language preferences, as the tool is available in over 20 languages.
The WriterProtector interface has a drop-down menu to select a language preference and a radio button option to turn USB protection on or off. If the user selects the radio button to have write protection on, all data on the USB drive is protected from accidental deletion.
